The Beast Is Unleashed

It’s release day for Sleeper!

The beast has been unleashed on an unsuspecting populace!

Are you ready for an ass-kicking, smart-mouthed beast of a goddess?

How about a ferocious, smokin’ hot, spine of steel Alpha wolf?

Because that’s exactly what you’re gonna get in Sleeper. Makenna and Rhys are more than a fierce handful separately, but when they get together, they are unstoppable! Their chemistry is explosive, like everything about their relationship. I can’t wait for you to take a bite out of their story. I hope you’ll love them as much as I do! How about I give you the lowdown, so you know a little more of what you’re getting into?

A throne with no ruler.

A beast stretching awake.

A goddess unleashed.

Makenna is a self-proclaimed freak with abilities she can’t control. She’s clawed her way through life, fighting to maintain her sanity. Her lonely existence has only fed the vicious animal within her, one she barely contains and doesn’t understand.

Rhys has prepared since birth to be alpha and king of an ancient race of wolves. Instead, he leads half a fractured clan against a depraved madman. But victory begins to slip through Rhys’s fingers. Only one thing can save them. A single requirement for him to claim the throne:

Bonding with his mate, the one warrior queen born to each generation, the incarnation of a primal warrior goddess who holds more power than any of them can imagine.

When Rhys finds Makenna, he believes the battle has shifted in his favor. He never imagined his heart would want her as much as his body. While Makenna is drawn to Rhys with terrifying intensity, his arrival triggers an acceleration in her abilities, the beast within her growing stronger than ever.

Will discovering the truth give Makenna the peace she craves, or will it ignite a savage escalation in the war, drenching their lives in blood?

Unleashed_ Sleeper (1)

This book is my first time venturing out on my own without a publisher, and it has been an adventure. But it’s been a labor of love. I’ve had so many amazing people by my side, helping me through the craziness and cheering me on. I could not have done it without them! Susan Garwood, Reggie Deanching, Janeen Ippolito, Liberty Speidel, and Jaye Cox, you guys rock! And thank you to all my readers who’ve supported me in taking this leap. Finally, much love to my husband and son, who’ve put up with take out, frozen pizzas, me looking like a tornado victim (haha), and the house looking the same for a couple months now while I get this book out. You two have been amazing through all of this.

Now that I’ve told you all about Sleeper and given my shout outs, how about you go grab this blazing hot story? You won’t regret it! Oh, and it’s also in KU! Click the link below to join the pack.

Today’s song is the perfect one for the release of Sleeper on the last night of the full moon!

The wolves are out!

By Amy Brock McNew

Author. Blogger. Fighter.

Former nurse and martial artist.

Amy doesn’t just write speculative fiction, she lives and breathes it. She enthusiastically explores the strange, the supernatural, and the wonderfully weird. She pours her guts onto the pages she writes, honestly and brutally revealing herself in the process. Nothing is off limits. Her favorite question is “what if?” and she believes fiction can be truer than our sheltered and controlled realities.

This wife and mom is a lover of music, chocolate, the beach, and cherry vanilla Coke. Her home is a zoo, filled with teenagers–both hers and those she seems to collect–two dogs, a cat, and various fish and amphibians. Strangely enough, her kids are the ones who have to tell her to turn the music down.

It is her firm belief that everyone should have a theme song.

Originally from Arkansas, Amy currently resides in Indiana. She and her Taekwondo-instructor husband are constantly acting like overgrown kids–and loving every minute of it. She longs for the day when her husband retires, so she can write her adventures of love and war on a back porch overlooking the ocean.

In flip flops.
